Prineet Sharma is an accomplished eminent domain trial lawyer. He handles eminent domain cases for property and business owners across Florida. For his property owner clients, Prineet has obtained more than $145 million dollars in compensation. Prineet also serves as lead eminent domain counsel for Florida’s largest natural gas pipeline.
Prineet has been recognized as one of the top eminent domain lawyers in Florida by numerous publications. Best Lawyers’ 2014-2017 has recognized Prineet as Lawyer of the Year for eminent domain in the Orlando area. US News® has recognized Prineet as top lawyer in Eminent Domain. Prineet’s peers also voted him as part of Florida Trend’s Legal Elite in Eminent Domain, an honor reserved for only the top 2% of attorneys in Florida. Prineet was also selected by his peers as a Super Lawyer in the field of Eminent Domain law and was named to Orlando’s Top 50 Attorneys. Prior to being selected a Super Lawyer, Prineet was featured as Super Lawyers Rising Star 4 consecutive years. Prineet has an AV® Rating the highest rating for professional abilities and ethics. Based on the results he has obtained for his clients, he is a member of the Million Dollar Advocate Forum. Beyond the courtroom, Prineet is co-author of Initiating Condemnation Lawsuit by Condemnor in the Florida Eminent Domain Practice and Procedure, the main reference book for Florida Eminent Domain Law. He has also written numerous articles about eminent domain in national publications and has chaired the Florida Statewide Super Conference on Eminent Domain. Prineet serves on the Florida Bar Eminent Domain Committee and is a member of the Association of Eminent Domain Professionals.
Prineet grew up in Orlando and graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Finance and minor in Economics. While at the University of Florida, Prineet served as president of Kappa Alpha Order and was a member of Florida Blue Key. Prineet obtained his law degree from the Stetson College of Law. Prineet is a life-time member of the University of Florida Alumni Association, a former member of the Board of Directors for Gator Boosters and an avid Gator supporter.
Prineet represents clients owning residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial properties in eminent domain proceedings.
