Honored to be part of this distinguished panel and having the opportunity to talk about Florida eminent domain law at the Texas CLE conference in Austin.  When speaking to lawyers in other jurisdictions it always make me appreciate that in Florida the taking authority has to pay Attorney Fees and Expert Costs in addition to the owner’s compensation. Property owners in other states don’t have the same protection.
